Accessible tools for every engineer.
Our mission is to make professional structural engineering tools accessible to every engineer and student, regardless of location or budget. Whether you're in a top firm or studying from your phone, you should have access to reliable, transparent calculation tools.
One structural engineer, not a company.
Enginus is built and maintained by Fayez Balhas, a structural engineer. His day-to-day work spans reinforced-concrete design and review, site supervision, and geotechnical work — plus a full 19-story twin-tower structural system, designed to Eurocode, as a final-year project. The calculators here use the same formulas and code checks that work runs on, not a simplified version built just for the web.
It exists because most structural calculators online pick one code family — Eurocode or ACI 318 — and stop there, with no way to see the formula behind the number they hand back. Enginus covers both major code families in the same tool, side by side, with every equation and code clause shown rather than hidden behind a “calculate” button.

Free Calculators
Beam analysis, unit conversion, rebar sizing and more — all free, no login required.
Excel Templates
Professional design sheets for beams, slabs, columns and footings. Coming soon.
Code Support
Eurocodes and major US standards (ACI 318, ASCE 7, AISC 360) — the applicable standard depends on the calculator.
Both Unit Systems
Full SI and Imperial support across all calculators and templates.
No black boxes.
Our calculators use classical elastic beam theory and code-compliant formulas. Every result is traceable — we show the equations behind every output so you can verify the engineering, not just trust the software.
That same transparency extends to verification: 347 of the site's benchmark test cases have been checked one by one against real reference calculations, not just run once and assumed correct. It's not a certification, and it doesn't cover every feature of every calculator yet — the full methodology, and exactly which cases are covered, is on the validation page →
